When Is A Marriage Separation Biblical? When Does “Difficult” Become Abusive?

Unfortunately in our fallen world, sin takes over and all the good intentions of one spouse cannot overcome the abuse of the other. It’s hard for many women to know when the line has been crossed from difficult to just plain abusive, and I have a unique perspective as someone who grew up in an abusive home. Unfortunately the church hasn’t been very helpful in this arena, but I believe we can do better.

Join me for Happy Hour as I’m sharing a little more of the background of God’s faithfulness to us over the years.

Crafted by God From Fertilization to Birth with Georgia Purdom

I’ve always said that life begins at conception, but now we’re getting even more specific. My friend Dr. Georgia Purdom is sharing some specific scientific facts about fertilization and why it matters that we consider that moment the beginning of life in the womb. The Federal Government Is Out Of Control, And It Doesn’t Seem To Be Getting Better. What Do We Do? With Mark Meckler and Mike Farris

The Convention of States is an emergency brake for a runaway train. The state legislatures have the power to limit the scope of the power of the federal government. Time is short, and Congress clearly isn’t interested in limiting the Federal Government. We have a better way to do this, and we need to get involved to help this movement grow. Listen to gain a better understanding of the process and the power you have in your hands as “we the people.” Politics is the victory of those who participate. Let that be you!

Whether you are the caregiver or you know a friend who is, you’ll be encouraged as you listen today.

A New Season: God’s Vision Will Never Lack God’s Provision

I am overwhelmed by the blessing and the joy of serving other people and what God has allowed us to do at the Homeschool Resource Center, and today I’m taking a sentimental look back at all the Lord has done. Many of you have been on this journey with us since the beginning, and I am so thankful for you! God is a God of provision, and I encourage you to watch for that in your own life as God sets good works before you to do.

Homeschooling in the Crosshairs Of The Secular Media

The homeschooling movement is again in the crosshairs of the secular media, put there by a couple who was raised in the home of what appear to be hardcore, legalistic parents. No doubt there are sinners in the homeschooling movement, and some of those were even leaders. But do we shut down or overregulate an entire movement because of the sins of a small percentage? And if that’s the case, find me a schooling situation that doesn’t have any abusers in it and we’ll talk.

Abuse is tragic regardless of the situation, and it should never be swept under the rug. That said, let’s talk about what homeschooling really *is* to almost every homeschooling family and why I firmly believe it is the best option for all of our children.
