Life is Hard… But God is Good with Harry Alicea

Harry Alicea was born in the late 80’s to a drug addicted mother. As a result, he was also born addicted to cocaine and suffered from a cleft palate. At two years old, he went into the foster care system. He was never adopted.

Today, Harry shares his story of abuse and abandonment, and ultimately, healing, because of Christ. In a culture that encourages victimhood, Harry experienced victory. Today, he is a father, a business owner and a devoted husband. He reminds us that we don’t need to be victims of our circumstances. We can rise above them and bring the hope and healing of Christ to a new generation.

We are business owners here in the Vancouver area who have always felt a call to adoption. After spending 5 years in Puerto Rico as missionaries, we moved back to the states to pursue the business world and to grow our family. Just over a year ago the Lord placed it on our hearts to adopt.
