Making Dating Fun Again # 425

I’m not gonna lie: yesterday was the BEST Valentine’s Day I have ever had—and you know what? It was simple. Just me and my man, eating chicken in the back of the mini-van. Yes, we forgot to pack silverware and ended up eating our dinner with the help of Jay’s Leatherman knife, but that didn’t dampen our fun at all. The point wasn’t that it was glamorous, the point was that it was intentional. Join me today as I spend a little more time talking about sex and marriage and why we need to keep having fun together!

3 Ways to SHINE for Christ Right Where You Are

  1. Know who you serve: (we are ambassadors for Christ—we serve God, not man!)
  2. Know the culture: Ask God to open your eyes to every opportunity you encounter
  3. Know the truth: speak it boldly! God’s truth in love is what sets us free!

Let Your Light SHINE

The Heidi St. John Podcast

The Bible says we’re supposed to be able to “give an answer for the hope that lies within us.” (1 Peter 3:15) So what does that look like today? What does it look like to follow Paul’s instructions to “shine forth” God’s love today? Does it mean that blend in with the culture? Not according to the Apostle, who went to great lengths to tell us to “run” from anything that displeases God. So where does that put Christ-followers today? Right where we need to be: salt and light. Join Heidi today and she shines a little light on the half-time performance from yesterday’s Superbowl. We’re no longer slaves to sin—we’ve been set free!
