Len Munsil is the 6th President of Arizona Christian University, serving
since 2010. Munsil has an accomplished record as a public policy expert,
conservative organizational entrepreneur, lawyer, journalist, educator, and
author.

In Munsil’s 10 years as President, ACU has changed its name,
strengthened its conservative Christian purpose, quadrupled in size,
acquired a much larger campus, increased enrollment for 7 straight years
and been ranked for 5 straight years as a Best College by U.S. News &
World Report, including in 2020 being chosen the No. 1 Undergraduate
Teaching institution in the West. Having now topped 1,000 students, ACU
remains committed to the small college experience as it produces leaders
who will transform culture with biblical truth.

In 2006, Munsil won the Republican nomination for Governor of Arizona but
lost to the incumbent Governor. In 2016 he was a delegate and platform
committee member at the Republican National Convention. He was the
founding president of Center for Arizona Policy and over 10 years built it
into the nation’s largest and most influential state-based pro-family and pro-
life organization. He is an expert in constitutional law and the First
Amendment. In 2020 he was selected an Outstanding Leader in Education
by the Arizona Business Journal.

President Munsil holds a Juris Doctor from Arizona State University’s
Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, and a Bachelor’s Degree from the
ASU Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Telecommunication, where
he was the Outstanding Graduate. He is admitted to practice before the
United States Supreme Court, multiple federal appeals courts and Arizona
state and federal courts. He clerked for Judge Daniel Manion of the U.S.
Court of Appeals for the 7 th Circuit. Len and his wife Tracy have eight adult
children and 13 grandchildren, and their family includes two daughters and
two sons-in-law who have served or currently serve as officers in the
United States military.
