Heidi St. John, Short Bio
As a popular author and speaker, Heidi St. John has been speaking on marriage, family and cultural issues for over 15 years. Her passion to encourage moms and set them free to boldly become who God has created them to be will challenge and encourage you. Heidi has been married to her college sweetheart since 1989, and their family includes seven children and four grandchildren! Jay and Heidi reside just outside of beautiful Vancouver, Washington, where they have homeschooled some of their kids all the way through high school and are still finishing up with a couple at home.
Heidi is the author of seven books. Her Becoming MomStrong five-book collection focuses on helping mothers build a solid biblical foundation for their families. Jay St. John, Short Bio
Jay St. John is the Executive Director of Firmly Planted Family, a non-profit organization that focuses on encouraging families to thrive within a biblical framework. A gifted worship leader and song-writer, Jay is also the homeschooling father of seven children and "Papa" to his grandchildren. In 2017, Jay and his wife, Heidi, opened the "Firmly Planted Homeschool Resource Center" which serves as a full-time homeschool support to families in the Portland/Vancouver area. Jay and Heidi have been married since 1989.

Heidi is the author of The Busy Homeschool Mom’s Guide to Romance: Nurturing Your Marriage Through the Homeschool Years. Her second book, The Busy Homeschool Mom’s Guide to Daylight, was released early in 2012. She is the creator of a journal for moms called Words Along the Way: A Busy Mom's Journal which emphasizes the joys of journaling through the journey of motherhood. Her most recent book, Bible Promises for Moms released March 2019 and is the latest in the MomStrong collection. Becoming MomStrong: How to Fight With All That's In You For Your Family and Your Faith, released in the fall of 2017 along with a companion Bible Study, Journal and Prayers for the Battlefield: Staying MomStrong in the Fight for Your Family and Your Faith. Heidi has also launched MomStrong International, and online and in real life ministry, in 2018, where she is equipping Christian women around the world to fight for their family and their faith through weekly Bible Studies and Scripture Writing challenges.

A passion for ministry
Jay and Heidi are also the founders and executive directors of Firmly Planted Family Ministries, a parachurch organization dedicated to training and equipping parents to disciple their children by focusing on “the things of first importance” (1 Cor 15:3). Firmly Planted Family Ministries has been in operation since 2000 and has benefited thousands of families across North America and Europe.
The St. Johns travel and speak together throughout the year, encouraging couples in their marriages and training and equipping parents to disciple their children as part of their daily family life, using God's Word as their primary vehicle for spiritual growth and discussion.
