As Christian mothers, we have been given the task to teaching our children about God’s standard—but looking around, it’s clear that many Christians have lost their way under enormous pressure from the culture. This message from the archives has not changed. We’re exchanging the truth of God’s Word for the easy “truth” of the world.
This generation of Christians in a full-blown spiritual crisis. God’s Word, the Bible, says that the Lord grants wisdom. Not the culture, not judges, not the courts. Christians need to cry out for wisdom as we navigate the issues of our generation. The conversation about the redefinition of marriage that’s happening in our churches, and most recently, the decision of the Presbyterian church to allow gay marriage should make followers of Jesus Christ tremble.
Join me as I talk about what God says about marriage. The culture may change, but God does not change. His standard is right—and as Christians, we need to know what God has to say about homosexuality—and then, be willing to take a stand for righteousness.
Come back to the Word of God, Christian! Be led by the Spirit. We either believe God’s Word or we don’t—and we demonstrate that by the way we live our lives. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. (Romans 12:2)
