  1. I enjoyed reading this! It was a great reminder to me. I have 5 children – schooling 2 girls, a son in a Christian school, disable son attends PIP program, and then a 2 year-old. I am looking forward to implementing some unit studies this summer. Thanks for this encouragement!

  2. This is good! Can you, Heidi, or anyone recommend some science for someone who is WAY behind in that area and just needs her kids to learn the most crucial things in a short amount of time? From a Christian perspective. Please? 🙂

  4. I so needed this today. I am homeschooling our 5 year old and kindergarten has been a struggle. I’ve recently come to realize that maybe he’s just not ready. He’s a September baby so I did start him young and wish I would have waited.

  5. Thank you for this! I have an almost 7, 5 (with some learning disabilities), 3, and 1 year old. We are trying to decide if we should take the plunge into homeschooling! But every time I do a search for the right curriculum, I am so overwhelmed! Going to try and keep it simple! 🙂

  6. Thank you! They are 13 and almost 16. I don’t really know what they really need to learn….I guess I need a guideline or something. I will check out Apologia. Thank you again! 🙂
