Amber lives in Texas with her husband of 15+ years and homeschools their three children ranging in age from elementary school to just starting high school. She and her husband are both self employed, relying on God daily, and their story is full of God’s faithfulness and provision. They are both active in their church and love music.
Much of Amber’s time is filled with homeschooling (or blogging about it,) and raising her two daughters and son. Her children range in age, learning style, and ability so Amber has embraced an eclectic learning style which she can tailor to their interests while always pointing them to God. Amber considers herself somewhat domestically challenged but she’s always striving to improve to take better care of her family and home, and so better glorify God in all that she does.
A homeschool blogger, when Amber’s not teaching her kids or cooking in the kitchen she can probably be found at her computer. Being a full time wife, mom, homemaker, homeschooler and blogger requires a lot of juggling, and a lot of depending on God! Finding time with God and time for Mom is hard but important. Amber also suffers from PMDD which makes her quiet time and daily dependence on God even more necessary.
Amber loves to write, encourage, and help others. Blogging and social media have become tools through which she can use her talents for the glory of God. She blogs about life, homemaking and homeschooling on her blog, Classic Housewife. You can also find Amber on Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, Instagram and Google+.
